Thinking Like an Engineer
Here's some back story. I got my lab manual for my statistics class in the first lab today. I didn't know it was loose bound, aka, meant to be put in a binder. I didn't bring a binder, and I didn't want to just let it fall apart in my back pack. Thinking like an engineer, I pulled one of the shoe lacess I keep in my bottom right pocket and bind it together. Here are the pictures.

Politics and light bulbs
How many liberals does it take to screw in a light bulb?
Well first you need to check if it's "green" and if not get a different one. Then you need to check to make sure you aren't offending the dark. Then a group has to occupy the hardware store since they don't have any lightbulbs and think they should be a right. After that Michael Moore has to make a video full of lies about the light bulb industry and how we should all go by candle light like the 3rd world countries...............................................
Why did the conservative cross the road?
To buy a light bulb and shut the liberals up.

A conservative on Moore Films
I love what I heard a conservative blogger say when he refused to review a Michael Moore film. "Asking a conservative blogger to review a Moore film is like asking a strait guy to review a gay porno."

Arguing with liberals
Arguing with liberals is like playing chess with a pigeon.
I can be the worlds best chess player but the pigeon will just knock over the pieces, poop on the board, and strut around like it accomplished something.
I got the bulk of this joke from a post on 9gag and just modified it to fit my agenda.

Oscar Hypocrasy
The amazing motion capture animated film, The Adventures of TinTin, was rejected from consideration for "best animated film" because of the motion capture, but fictional "Bowling for Columbine" won "best documentary." I don't get it.

A facebook rebuttle to a video that was shared.
And if you can't read it.
1:macs are easy to use. FALSE Of the 3 times I tried to use a mac I was utterly confused. Easy to use my butt.
2:Plug and play. Little girl, so can PC. Vista and 7 don't require drivers and with xp were rather easy to instal.
3: Can still run microsoft office and windows on a mac. Maybe it's because they're superior and apple knows they can't compeat. I don't see people dual booting their PC's except for linux but those are geeks.
4:Really cool aplications. Yeah apples get wimpy apps. PCs get full on programs. I would go into the difference and superiority of programs over apps but I won't bother.
5: No viruses. It's because hackers don't want to bother with a minority operating system. From stories of "hack-a-thons" where hackers find security holes for fun, they found just as meny security holes in ios as in windows. They would rather steal 100,000 bank acount numbers than all 10 from macs. And with mac becoming more popular, more virses are surfacing because it's becomeing worth it for hackers.
6: have multiple windows open at the same time without crashing. Do it every day on my hp windows 7. Plus I have 2 monitors so I can look at 2 full screens with different documents at the same time. How many imacs are set up to do that. And when doing it with a macbook, you need to buy a separate accessory. Mine is capable right out of the box.
7: 70% of computers are macs at schools. I've only seen macs in the video department and they were easily outnumbered by PCs. 5 PC work stations, 3 macs. All labs were PCs. In my lab at school, of the 100 or so computers, only 8 are macs. Last time I checked, 8 out of 100 wasn't 70%
8: people with macs are more educated and have more money even if you don't have education or money. A) The statement is counterintuitive, and B) you sure as hell won't have more money than a PC using mac with the price gouging.

Wall Street Journal Grammar Error
While reading the Wall Street Journal, I came across this interjection.
"-none of the candidates is-" Really? Subject verb agreement anyone? It should be "none of the candidates are" or "no candidate is."
Wall Street Journal, "Gingrich can repeal Obama Care," Bill Mcollum, Jan 20, 2012, Page A13, paragaph 8, line 2.
